سُجلت في العراق خلال الساعات الأربع والعشرين الماضية 1252 إصابة جديدة بفيروس كورونا المستجد, وهي أعلى حصيلة إصابات يومية في البلاد منذ تفشي الفيروس, وبذلك يرتفع إجمالي عدد الإصابات في عموم العراق إلى 11098 إصابة، وتوزعت الإصابات الجديدة على محافظات بغداد والنجف والبصرة والسليمانية وأربيل وبابل وكربلاء والديوانية وذي قار وكركوك وديالى وميسان والمثنى والأنبار وواسط وصلاح الدين.وأفادت وزارة الصحة العراقية في بيان صحفي أنه تم تسجيل 33 حالة وفاة جديدة, مما رفع إجمالي حالات الوفاة إلى 318 حالة, كما تم تسجيل 331 حالة شفاء جديدة ,مما رفع إجمالي عدد حالات الشفاء إلى 4904 حالات ، مشيرة إلى أن عدد المصابين في المستشفيات في عموم العراق بلغ 5867 مريضا , منهم 60 مريضاً في العناية المركزة .
