قالت وزارة الدفاع الأمريكية (البنتاغون)، اليوم الثلاثاء، إن وزارة الخارجية وافقت على بيع محتمل لطائرات من طراز ”سي-17“ ومعدات ذات صلة إلى دولة الإمارات بتكلفة تقديرية 980.4 مليون دولار.وعلى الرغم من موافقة وزارة الخارجية، فإن الإخطار لا يشير إلى أن العقد قد تم توقيعه أو أن المفاوضات انتهت.وقال البنتاغون إن شركة بوينغ هي المقاول الرئيس في هذا العقد.
