قال متحدث باسم مكتب مفوض الأمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق الإنسان في إفادة صحافية في جنيف الثلاثاء، إن ما يصل إلى 23 طفلاً قضوا في الاحتجاجات الحاشدة المستمرة في إيران.وأفاد المكتب بأن الوفيات نجمت عن إصابات بالذخيرة الحية والخرطوش من مسافة قريبة والضرب الذي أفضى إلى موت، مضيفاً أنه تم اعتقال عدد غير محدد من الأطفال خلال مداهمات للمدارس، ما استدعى خضوع بعضهم للعلاج النفسي.
