قال المدير العام لمنظمة الصحة العالمية تيدروس أدهانوم غيبريسوس، إن المنظمة بحاجة لمزيد من المعلومات لتقييم الزيادة الأخيرة في عدد الإصابات بكورونا في الصين.وارتفعت الإصابات في أنحاء الصين هذا الشهر، بعدما تخلت بكين عن سياستها الصارمة "صفر-كوفيد"، بما في ذلك إخضاع السكان لفحوصات (بي.سي.آر) بشكل منتظم.وفي أعقاب ذلك، ألزمت الولايات المتحدة وكوريا الجنوبية والهند وإيطاليا واليابان وتايوان المسافرين القادمين من الصين بإجراء فحوصات للكشف عن كوفيد.وكتب تيدروس في تغريدة في وقت متأخر من يوم أمس الخميس: "من أجل إجراء تقييم شامل للمخاطر بشأن وضع كوفيد19 على الأرض في الصين، تحتاج منظمة الصحة العالمية لمزيد من المعلومات التفصيلية".
