أعلنت مجموعة مايكروسوفت السبت أنها حققت في تهم وجهها لها موظف سابق بتقديم رشى في الشرق الأوسط وإفريقيا واتخذت إجراءات من بينها تسريح موظفين.وجاءت اتهامات المسؤول السابق في مايكروسوفت في مقابلة مع صحيفة وول ستريت جورنال وفي مقال أورده الجمعة موقع ”ليونيس“ الذي ينشر شهادات لمبلغين عن المخالفات.وأكد الموظف السابق أن عملاق التكنولوجيا فصله بعد أن عمل لصالحه من 1998 إلى 2018 في إفريقيا حيث لاحظ أن موظفين في الشركة متورطون في ممارسات فساد في العديد من دول المنطقة.وبحسب قوله، تورطت أيضا في الممارسات شركات محلية للمساعدة في بيع منتجات مايكروسوفت.بسؤالها عن الاتهامات، أكدت مايكروسوفت السبت أنها ”حققت بالفعل في هذه المزاعم التي تعود إلى عدة سنوات“ و“تعتقد أنها حلتها“.وأضافت نائبة الرئيس والمستشارة القانونية في الشركة بيكي لينابورغ في بيان لوكالة فرانس برس ”نتعاون مع الوكالات الحكومية لحل كل المشاكل“.وتابعت ”لقد اتخذنا تدابير، بينها التخلي عن موظفين وشراكات في إطار تحقيقاتنا“، وأردفت ”إننا ملتزمون بممارسة الأعمال التجارية بشكل مسؤول“.وشددت أن مايكروسوفت ”تشجع دائما أي شخص على الإبلاغ عن أي شيء يرى أنه قد ينتهك القانون أو سياساتنا أو معاييرنا الأخلاقية“.وفق صحيفة وول ستريت جورنال، أبلغ الموظف السابق شكوكه إلى هيئة الرقابة على سوق الأوراق المالية الأميركية في مطلع عام 2019، وأكد في الملفات التي قدمها أن مايكروسوفت ”متورطة منذ عدة سنوات في ممارسات فساد“.وبحسب موقع ”ذي فيرج“، يقدر الموظف أن هذه الممارسات يمكن أن تشمل أكثر من 200 مليون دولار سنويا في دول من بينها غانا ونيجيريا وقطر والسعودية.
