أمر القائد الأعلى لأفغانستان وحركة طالبان هبة الله اخوند زاده النساء السبت بارتداء البرقع في الأماكن العامة، وفق ما ذكرت وكالة فرانس برس.وجاء في مرسوم صادر عن اخوند زاده كشفت عنه سلطات حركة طالبان، ينبغي عليهن وضع التشادري (تسمية أخرى للبرقع)، تماشياً مع التقاليد.وأضاف المرسوم، أن النساء متوسطات العمر «ينبغي أن يغطين وجوههن باستثناء العينين، بما تنص عليه أحكام الشريعة عندما يلتقين رجالاً من غير المحرمين».وأَضاف المرسوم أنه «يفضل أن تلازم النساء المنزل»، إذا لم يكن لديهن عمل مهم في الخارج.وخلال فترة حكمهما الأولى بين 1996 و2001 فرضت حركة طالبان قيوداً مماثلة على النساء.
