أعلنت السلطات الصحية الإسبانية اليوم تسجيل 229 وفاة جديدة نتيجة الإصابة بفيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد 19).وقال مدير المركز الوطني للتنسيق والطوارئ الصحية فيرناندو سيمون في مؤتمر صحفي إن هناك "ارتفاع ملحوظ في عدد الإصابات الجديدة حيث تم تسجيل 1095 إصابة في الـ 24 ساعة الأخيرة".وأوضح أن العدد الرسمي للوفيات ارتفع إلى 26299 حالة فيما بلغ العدد الإجمالي للإصابات المشخصة بتقنية تحليل تفاعل البوليمراز المتسلسل (PCR) 222857 حالة بينما تماثل 131148 شخصا للشفاء.
