أعلنت الشرطة الأمريكية عن مقتل أحد عناصرها وإصابة آخر، بعد تعرضهم لإطلاق نار في مجمع سكني في جنوب غرب هيوستن، مشيرة الى أنه تم القبض على مشتبه به ونقله إلى المستشفى.وذكرت الشرطة الأمريكية أنها تلقت بلاغا يتعلق بشكوى عنف منزلي، مشيرة إلى أنه لدى حضور عناصرها للتحقيق في البلاغ، تعرضوا لإطلاق نار.وأشارت إلى أن الرقيب الذي توفي يدعى هارولد بريستون، وكان يخدم في القسم لمدة 41 عاما، أما الضابط المصاب فهو كورتني والر، ويخدم في القسم لمدة ثلاث سنوات.
