استدعى وزير الخارجية الإسرائيلي غابي أشكينازي، الخميس، سفير فرنسا في إسرائيل، في أعقاب تصريحات وزير خارجية فرنسا جون إيف لودريان، والذي وصف فيها إسرائيل بأنها تتجه لأن تكون دولة فصل عنصري.وقال أشكينازي للسفير الفرنسي، وفقاً لبيان الخارجية الإسرائيلية، إن "أقوال لودريان غير مقبولة، وليست مبنية على أسس، وبعيدة عن الحقيقة"، وإن "إسرائيل ترفضها رفضاً قاطعاً".
