أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الأسترالية، الاثنين، إطلاق سراح اثنين من مواطنيها ،أوقفا نهاية مارس الماضي في ميانمار، مشيرة إلى أنهما غادرا رانغون.ووضعت السلطات الميانمارية مستشاري الأعمال ماثيو أوكان، وكريستا إفيري، التي تحمل الجنسيتين الأسترالية والكندية، رهن الإقامة الجبرية، بعدما حاولا مغادرة البلاد عبر رحلة إغاثة في مارس.وأفاد متحدث باسم وزارة الخارجية والتجارة، أنّ مسؤولين أستراليين "قدموا مساعدة قنصلية" للثنائي، أثناء توقيفهما والإفراج عنهما.
