أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي السابق، دونالد ترامب، أن هناك آلاف المواطنين الأمريكيين يبقون في أفغانستان كرهائن.وقال ترامب في بيان: "كيف يتجرأ بايدن (الرئيس الأمريكي) على إجبار عسكريينا على الفرار من ساحة القتال في أفغانستان والهجر عندما يبقى آلاف من الأمريكيين كرهائن".وأضاف دونالد ترامب، "أفغانستان وكابول كانتا تحت سيطرة موثوقة عندما كان هناك 2500 جنديا فقط، وقد دمرنا ذلك عندما طلب منهم الفرار".ومن المفترض أن يعلن وزير الخارجية الأمريكي، أنتوني بلينكن اليوم الأربعاء، عدد الأمريكيين الذين تم إجلاؤهم من أفغانستان وعدد الباقين هناك.وأعلنت السكرتيرة الصحفية للرئيس الأمريكي، جين ساكي، أن الولايات المتحدة قامت بإجلاء 58.700 ألف شخص من أفغانستان خلال الأيام الـ 9 الماضية".وتتواصل عمليات إجلاء الرعايا الأمريكان والأوروبيين والأفغان المتعاونين مع واشنطن وحلفائها خلال السنوات الماضية.
