وقع الرئيس الأميركي جو بايدن، الاثنين، على مشروع قانون لخطة اقتصادية تهدف لتطوير البنية التحتية، ليكون بذلك قانوناً نافذاً.وقال بايدن عبر حسابه على تويتر، إنه وقع المشروع الذي توافق عليه الحزبان الديمقراطي والجمهوري، بحضور أعضاء في الكونغرس من كلا الحزبين.وأضاف الرئيس الأميركي: "هذا استثمار تاريخي في مستقبلنا، سيخلق وظائف ذات رواتب جيدة ويعيد بناء البنية التحتية لأمتنا. إنه فوز هائل للشعب الأميركي".
