على خلفية التوترات المتصاعدة مع روسيا، أعلنت الولايات المتحدة أن حلف الناتو يعتزم إجراء مناورات غير مسبوقة بمشاركة آلاف العسكريين في منطقة القطب الشمالي.وأكدت البعثة الأمريكية لدى الناتو على حسابها في "تويتر" أمس الأربعاء أن أكبر مناورات للحلف في منطقة القطب الشمالي ستحمل اسم "الرد البارد" (Cold Response) ومن المقرر أن تجري في أوائل مارس القادم.وأشارت البعثة إلى أن 35 ألف عسكري من 28 دولة سيشاركون في المناورات، بالإضافة إلى حاملة الطائرات الأمريكية "هاري إس ترومان".
